LibrisList

LibrisList is a modern, interactive web application designed to simplify the way users discover, manage, and engage with their reading material. Leveraging Next.js 15 and the App Router, LibrisList provides a fast, intuitive experience, featuring streamlined routing and optimized rendering strategies. The app integrates the Google Books API, allowing users to efficiently search an extensive catalog of books, apply advanced search filters, and view detailed book information. For user management and authentication, I implemented Auth.js to provide secure and effortless Google Sign-In, enhancing accessibility and personalization. The backend relies on Supabase, a robust PostgreSQL-based platform, to securely store user-specific data such as curated reading lists, personalized notes, and user preferences. To ensure a visually appealing, responsive design, I used Tailwind CSS, resulting in a clean and modern user interface that provides seamless experiences across various devices and screen sizes. Through building LibrisList, I demonstrated proficiency in modern web technologies, RESTful APIs integration, robust user authentication practices, and full-stack development techniques, creating a performant and highly interactive platform for avid readers.

This is a full-stack MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) application designed to foster a vibrant and engaging online wine community. Users can create and manage blog posts through a rich text editor (Quill), connect with other wine enthusiasts, and explore an extensive wine encyclopedia. Additionally, users can discover new wines through a custom API, explore wine-related events, and utilize advanced features such as the following: Inverted Index with Fuzzy Search: A powerful search functionality that provides an enhanced experience when exploring wines, critics, and wine-related events. Google Places API Integration: Tailored wine location suggestions are delivered through a seamless integration with the Google Places API, allowing users to explore venues and wineries near them. Autocomplete Feature for Venue Search: Autocomplete functionality assists users in finding wine venues near their location quickly and efficiently. Users can also follow friends, interact with the community, and participate in wine-related events. All content, including images and descriptions, is for demonstration purposes and is not owned by the creators. The data generated by the app should not be considered over authenticated wine APIs.

Athlete 2 Athlete (A2A) is a full-stack platform designed to connect athletes, coaches, and the community through athlete spotlights, testimonials, and admin-controlled user submissions. Built with React, TailwindCSS, Axios, Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL, Redis, and AWS S3, it ensures scalability, performance, and security. Athlete Spotlights allow users to submit profiles highlighting their background, achievements, and community impact, along with up to three images stored securely on AWS S3. Testimonials let users share experiences with A2A’s training programs, with all submissions requiring admin approval before publication. The admin dashboard includes submission and user management, status controls, profile edits, email notifications via Nodemailer, and secure image handling. Redis caching optimizes API performance and reduces database load. Future features include Calendly integration for session bookings, user dashboards for tracking stats, payments, and goals, and expanded admin analytics for monitoring engagement and subscriptions. A2A is built to empower athletes through a structured platform while maintaining content quality and security through robust admin tools.

About Me

I am a passionate software engineer with strong expertise in React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, and cloud infrastructure, and building RESTful APIs. Additionally, I have working knowledge of Python, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, GraphQL, system design, and CI/CD pipelines, and more.

Since starting my coding journey in 2023, I've graduated from General Assembly's Software Engineering Bootcamp (2024), earned cloud certifications, and completed numerous real-world freelance projects.

I bring team-oriented skills, honed through collaboration with mid- and senior-level engineers on various group projects, along with managerial experience from previous roles. I hold a BA in Communication Studies and plan to further my education with a BS in Computer Science.

I'm continuously refining my skills while contributing to ongoing freelance projects, and I'm driven to build efficient, scalable solutions.

I am working within the Shopify Admin to configure collections, products, and navigation, ensuring a fully customized storefront that aligns with the brand’s aesthetic and functionality needs. This application is near production, it is just waiting on the customer to decide final touches on text content and final design walk through.

Webiste created to give information about a care home facility for developmentally disabled adults in Northen California. Includes about pages, staff directory, mission page, careers page, contact page, and more. Forms are sent to specific staff via microsoft graph api. This real-world project gave me experience in DNS configuration, SEO, and working with a cloud infrastructure via a graph api and utilizing OAuth systems.

Memory Squares

Memory Game - Inspired by Nickelodeon's Brain Surge is a fun and challenging memory game where players must replicate a sequence of flashing squares generated by the CPU. As the game progresses, the grid size and difficulty increase with each level. Players click on the squares in the correct order and submit their sequence, which is compared to the CPU's. If correct, they advance; if wrong, the game ends. High scores are saved in local storage, and audio-visual feedback enhances the gameplay. The game uses arrays to store sequences, a timer for added challenge, and local storage to track and update high scores.
